Wondering what to do with the season’s last bounty? With this recipe, it only
takes only two (ingredients) to tango! It looks like summer, and tastes like it
too. It might just be the coolest dessert on the block, wanna sor-BET?

Ingredients:
1 ½ cup diced mango, frozen
Juice of 2 limes
1/4 cup hot water
Method:
1. On a tray covered with parchment paper, spread your diced mango and
freeze for upto 4 hours.
2. Take the mangoes out of the freezer 5 minutes prior to preparation, to
allow it to thaw easily.
3. In a food processor, add your mangoes and lime juice. Process the two on
high speed, making sure to check its consistency every 30 seconds.
4. If the consistency isn’t proper, throw in a few spoonfuls of the hot water
and blitz again until smooth, almost creamy in texture.
5. Once done, pour the sorbet into another container and chill for half an
hour, minimum before serving.
The recipe serves 2 scoops of Mango sorbet, which can be left to chill in the
freezer for a few hours or served almost immediately, whatever suits your
fancy. It is healthy, it’s vegan, and naturally sweet! Did I mention, it’s like a
one-bowl tropical vacation? Man-go make it for yourself, already.
NOTE: You can garnish the sorbet with mint or basil. The quantity can be
varied according to your liking. If you would prefer additional sweetness,
honey/maple syrup can be added while processing it, as well.
