TESTIMONIALS

" Turning to professional help for my nutrition was one of the wisest decisions I've made in life (and I've made very few, so I'm really proud of this one😂) My lifestyle had become extremely lazy and unhealthy last year. I had a small feeling that I was doing something terribly wrong with my nutrition (might have been the multiple bottles of pepsi a day or Uncle Chips instead of meals, not sure). Add to this, my PCOS, severe allergies and a sudden decision to turn vegan. This is when I decided to consult Sahana.

3 months later, my periods and allergies in check, my skin feels amazing, no more bloating and im 4-5 kgs lighter! (Tbh, being able to manage my PCOS simply with eating well and exercising came as a surprise to me, because I was extremely skeptical of whether a nutritionist can help, but damn! ) What I've gained from Sahana is not just a couple of diet plans but a whole new understanding of how, what, why and when I should be eating.

I've also understood that just like eating whatever you feel like, eating well and giving your body what is needs is also a part of self love. So, thank you Sahana for all the amazing work you do and for being the chill-est even on the days I fell off track (this nutritionist even lets you drink! like whaaa?)

(P. S I have not had pepsi or chips in a really loong time. )

(P.P.S and I've now turned into one of those annoying people that point out all the mistakes in OTHER people's food while they try eat. It's fun!)"

“ I thoroughly enjoyed working with you for my weight loss while continuing to push myself on the endurance activities.

I had lost 45 lbs in 2017, keep all of it off in 2018 and gained 20 lbs in 2019 due to work stress. I kept telling myself I need to stay dedicated to get back on track. However, I have certainly gained fresh perspective through you on how to approach the weight loss goals.

Our initial conversations were around identifying what was going wrong in my diet - excessive coffee, snacking habits, uncontrolled portions for dinner meals, etc.. The first plan was to get me back on a routine of stable, manageable diet without drastic challenges to address these issues. I had picked up running again over this period but the scale didn’t move much. Once the eating habits stabilized a bit, the second plan put me on a low carb diet while continuing to stay active. This brought the weight down by 10 lbs, and with a decent enough running plan, I was able to run faster and longer.

What I really liked in this period was how you engaged to stay plugged in on most of my day to day drill, to keep me on track, and to provide active feedback. The net positive effect from your supportive words, when I give in to pastry cravings or a cheat meal without taking the guilt trip route, needs a mention too.

Everything was going fine for COVID to come wreck havoc. I had to do something different to deal with the wfh stress and I channeled it into biking. This is where I discovered my addiction to peanut butter, the importance of recovery, how not to get exhausted, eating more of the right carbs to sustain the long rides. You had updated the latest meal plan to reflect these changes by including more carbs to supplement the workouts.

Over the last six months, I have run + biked more than any other six months and have lost close to 15 lbs. Your insights into my nutrition plan has been significant. Looking forward for similar support and guidance to keep the ball rolling. "

" Working with Sahana was like magic.  I never had the energy nor the dedication to follow strict regimes to lose weight though I badly wanted to. She broke it down and made it look so simple that even with a lifestyle that demands me to be around food the whole day, I was able to push myself through it. She was away in Bangalore and I was in Trivandrum, yet the whole process was guided like a piece of cake!

Thank you, Sahanaaaa! I am so glad that I decided to randomly hit you up that day "
